It's a good thing Tallinn is so lovely 'cause this is Narva, looking across into Russia. It was maddening to be so close and not be able to cross the border (it's mega-expensive for visas for Americans). Most of our days here were wet, muddy and oppressively grey. Not the world's most scenic conference destination!
