I'm mobile

Thanks to a massive family computer swap, I am typing away with my nify new laptop, complete with wireless connection. Ah, there's nothing like the freedom of updating the web while sipping a latte at Circle Moon (my nearest free-internet equipped coffee shop). This machine is a big answer to prayer, and will allow me to take along my needed materials to Lithuania this coming fall.

Speaking of Lithuania, it's strange how my thoughts haven't been much turned in that direction lately. It's almost as if the wave of excitement and anticipation swept right over me, and now I'm in that strange waiting room between take-off and landing. I need to be praying more, and preparing my heart for the challenges and the ministries that lay ahead. Meantime, I have been desiring a real break - a vacation! It will be a relief when the legwork and paperwork for moving to LT is completed and I can just relax a bit.

The next chapter

Well, I did it.

I just hit "send" on the email to Lithuania Christian College, writing to tell them that I'd like to accept the position there next year. Wow! It felt pretty significant to write that letter and realize the course of my life that is determined by it, just some words on a screen.

I am happy, and excited. There are a lot of details to take care of in the next three months (like raising support!), but I know they'll fall into place. One great thing I'm looking forward to is being here in Colorado over the summer. I plan to camp like a crazy person (in between my two or three jobs, of course).
