A few brief updates

1. Please say a prayer for my dad who had to have urgent surgery for a detached retina this morning. The recovery will mean 2 weeks of lying face down with an eye patch. Ick.

3. I just discovered the really cool blog of my former pastor, Greg Boyd, who's attending a conference about contemporary science and theology in Boston this week and blogging his thoughts. Very meaty and interesting!
