Clockwise: Nan, (Thailand), Liuba, Lena (Ukraine), Altynai (Kyrgzstan), Ledina (Albania), Mila (Lithuania), Jerilyn (Canada), and Jen (US).This Easter weekend, myself and my friend and fellow teacher, Jerilyn were able to go with a wonderful group of women from LCC to spend 24 hours at a nearby retreat house in Karkle. Jerilyn taught on the discipline of fasting, I took care of the pre and post-fasting meals, and all of us spent most of our day Saturday in fasting, prayer, study and meditation. It was a lovely and meaningful way to celebrate this most-significant time of the Christian year. We were all blessed to learn from each other as God spoke to each of us in unique ways throughout the day.
