I wish I could say it well enough, tell you how beautiful this day is -
the 75 degree dry air, the taut cloudlessness of the sky, driving the car 50 mph on 30 mph roads whose curves I could turn in my sleep, the way the road runs along the spring streams swollen with snowmelt, how the aspens are budding in young green, and how with one bend of the highway you're thrust into the open space of the Park, walled in by snowy ridges and towering rocks. Wish I could tell you how it smells, the clean-ness of the air, the spruces, the sage. How my feet are sock-less and happy in their sandles, suddenly aware there is such a thing as summer! And everywhere, mountains.

Wow Jen! Your Lithuanian is getting better and better. You should start studying russian too! It would be fun!
Jane -
I am studying Russian now! My class started last night, and I think it is going to be fun, but probably won't be as much speaking practice as I want. It's cool though because the teacher wants us to start writing the Cyrillic script right away, and she is having us work really hard on the alphabet to begin with. I hope I'll be even a little bit better when we go to Ukraine.
I MISS YOU, and can't wait to see you in June. :)
